The
Midwest Division is the most recent member
of the Cives Corporation family. The division
has been strategically located in Wolcott,
Indiana which is halfway between Chicago
and Indianapolis, it is also a short drive
from West Lafayette, the hometown of Purdue
University. Since it first opened its
doors in April 1996 the Midwest Division
has undergone three expansions and is
currently capable of fabricating 20,000
tons/year using the very latest state-of-the
art CNC equipment. MWD continues to grow
and serve the most respected customers
in the nation. With our current involvement
in many high-profile construction projects,
the quality of our work speaks for itself.

Mid-West Division has been retained to provide design assist services for the Museum Plaza project in Louisville, Kentucky, including full Building Information Modeling participation. When completed, the 63 story Museum Plaza project will tower over the existing Louisville skyline. |

300 North La Salle: |
| |
Located at the northwest corner of LaSalle street and the Chicago River, this recently completed 59 story high-rise contributes to the famous Chicago skyline standing at 810 feet overlooking the Chicago river. 9,200 tons of steel provide the skeleton of this 1.5 million-square-foot building. |

C.S. Mott Women and Children Hospital: |

Located on the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan, this 11,500 ton hospital includes a 12 story tower and a 9 story clinic attached to the west end of the tower. The hospital’s main structural system was changed from that of a concrete core to a steel braced frame during pre-construction and resulted in a floor plan which integrates standard steel framing in conjunction with a 225 ton truss and 25 braced frames. |

BCBS 300 East Randolph Vertical Expansion: |
|
The vertical expansion of this existing 30 story office building requires reinforcement of several key components of the existing structure, temporary support structures for two tower cranes and an additional 24 floors. This composite structure skyscraper is located east of the junction of East Randolph and Columbus drive in downtown Chicago and includes approximately 9,000 tons of structural steel. |

Rush University East Tower Atrium Addition: |
|
At 14 stories and 7,600 tons, this uniquely shaped hospital tower borders Congress Parkway just west of downtown Chicago. In addition to the main hospital tower project, Cives Midwest Division is providing an additional 1,400 tons of structural steel for the hospital’s new Central Energy Plant, Loading Dock and Parking Garage. |
