COBO Center Arena - Phase IIIb
Midwest Division was recently awarded a contract for the fabrication of approximately 2,000 tons of structural steel, including (36) shop assembled trusses and roughly (150) tons of AESS framing, for the renovation of the COBO Center Arena in downtown Detroit, Michigan. Not only does this project require an aggressive fabrication schedule in order to achieve owner commitments toward future convention events, but it also poses the unique challenge of requiring significant amounts of new steel to safely and efficiently connect directly to the existing structure. Cives' Midwest Division is excited about the opportunity to showcase both our fabrication capabilities and management skill in meeting the challenges of this uniquely aggressive project.
