Princeton Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment

Mid Atlantic Division has recently been awarded the contract to fabricate and erect approximately 1100 tons of structural steel for the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment, at Princeton University. This 127,000 square foot structure will house a state of the art cleanroom, which at 20,000 square feet, will be the largest in the country. The Andlinger Center is dedicated to environmental protection and conservation, the study of sustainable energy, and tackling the issues related to our use of non-renewable fuels. Shipping and erection logistics will be challenging, due to close proximity to existing buildings, on a busy college campus. Erection is scheduled to start in November and complete March of 2013.
