Town of Gouverneur Truck Completion
Viking Cives (VCU) Harrisville, NY, has proudly completed the assembly of a new truck for the Town of Gouverneur, NY. Which includes a Pink Plow and Wing for Breast & Ovarian Cancer awareness. It will be on site at the 24th Annual Gouverneur Breast & Ovarian Cancer Walk, Saturday, October 4, 2025. Gouverneur Breast & Ovarian Cancer Fund was established to provide financial assistance to those fighting Breast or Ovarian cancer or a cancer that has metastasized from those cancers. They assist individuals who live in St. Lawrence, Jefferson, Lewis, and Franklin counties, New York, providing financial assistance with household, medical, travel, and living expenses during a patient’s treatment of those cancers. Their mission is to alleviate at least some of the financial burden their patients face during their treatment, allowing them to focus on recovery and healing. Patients receive financial assistance with medical expenses, household expenses, rent, mortgages and car payments, which are a few examples. Support will go directly to assist newly diagnosed patients with their recovery.
