NYC Football Club Topping Out
On March 25, the New York City Football Club held the official topping out ceremony for their new Etihad Stadium in Willets Point, Queens, NY. Sitting across the street from the NY Mets’ Citi Field, Northern Division supplied over 8,000 tons of structural steel to bring the European style facility to existence. The project contains two levels of seating accommodating 25,000 “futbol” fans of the 2021 MLS Champions. NOD provided large raker trusses and for seating support and 25 cantilever roof trusses to protect the fans and create an immersive experience. NOD was assisted by CEC with a complete connection design package. Congrats to the entire Cives team on another iconic NYC location!
