Steam Data Center Project
A confidential data center located in Goodyear, AZ, less than 15 miles from Cives Steel Company – Southwest Division. The steel structure is comprised of 4300 tons of structural steel, 47,000 sq ft of galvanized grating, 6 stair towers, and nearly 50 crossover and platform stairs for generator and rooftop access. Steel erection began in mid-May ‘24, and is topped off after 13 weeks of erection on 8/14/24. Extensive planning and VDC efforts were required to coordinate the structural and miscellaneous steel with complex mechanical and electrical systems that power the building; all while maintaining and ultimately improving upon an aggressive schedule.
