University of Utah PCEB Building – 65% Completion
The upcoming John and Marcia Price Computing and Engineering Building at the University of Utah broke ground in May 2024 and is tracking for completion in January 2027. It’s a six-story, 253,000-square-foot facility. The new building will house the School of Computing as well as other engineering programs, including artificial intelligence, FinTech, cybersecurity, along with other emerging areas. High-tech labs, large classrooms and office space will allow the College of Engineering to increase the number of students graduating from various programs by 500 or more students per year. The building sits on 2.4 acres and consists of 2,300 tons of structural steel.
